We got invited to a friend's surprise 30th birthday party. Western theme, in case you couldn't tell...
It's important to state that we were really taking a risk dressing like this because we're still relatively new to our circle of friends. I'm pretty sure people knew that our outfits were a big joke, but man, I hope no one thought we were serious... especially with the colonel ties!
This girl is just the cutest ever. After everyone surprised her at her house, she went and changed into her western gear too!

Thankfully Tyler's parents were in town, so we had them watch our kids for us. We had so much fun on our date night... especially knowing that our kids were in such great hands!
There were a few kids who came and loved shooting us adults with the table decor...
And they even had line dancing with an instructor.
We feel so blessed to be making some great friends and memories out here already.

oh my! I am dying over those outfits, I love it. You guys are too much fun. I also cannot believe how many things you and your mom-in-law cooked in a few hours. Super woman!
