V-day recap

Traditional free-handed pink heart pancakes...
Hugs for Dad before work...
Posing on the stairs before school with their v-day clothes and loot...

I was lucky to teach preschool on that day...
I taught the kids a little bit about mail people and they were in heaven pretending to deliver their "mail" to their friends mailboxes that we had decorated:
Annie hand-made all of her valentines (computer paper with a lollipop taped on) about 2 weeks before, and she kept them all in this paper bag. I should have supervised her a little bit more b/c when it was her turn to play mailman, she had a Mary Poppins-like experience pulling valentine after valentine out of her bag for people not in her preschool class! She had made valentines for a handful of her cousins, her Sunday school teachers, our neighbors, and then finally we found the valentine's for her classmates. But my favorite was this one:
In case you can't read it, it says, "I love myself Annie ♥ Annie"
We wrapped up the night with Lamp Post Pizza for dinner.
You think we liked it? ;)
