Visitors

The Friday of Whitney's baptism weekend, I took Whitney & Cole out of school early and we went up to the Reagan Library with Grandma & Grandpa Nelson.
My kids couldn't believe that they had a whole "museum" dedicated to just ONE person.
This original Air Force One was a big hit. You can't take pictures of the inside of it though.
They have ipod touches for you to rent that take you on a self-guided tour. Those itouches also take pictures, and the kids of course couldn't take enough pictures.
Cole took this one of Grandma Nelson...
...and this one of something SUPER cool...
...and this pic of the treat that Gma bought him...

...and the ipod pictures all go downhill after this hand shot...  I'll spare you the toilet picture he took in the bathroom!
They also have this real piece of the Berlin Wall there which was really cool!

After the Reagan Library, we ran to Costco to get some groceries for the weekend festivities. Gma Nelson fed the kids...

...and Cole didn't need to eat for another 36 hours after that slice.

Saturday was full of baseball/softball games, watching Conference, and of course Whitney's baptism.

On Sunday we camped out in the family room and listened to Conference. Shannon couldn't get enough of my sister's baby Ella.

On Monday, we had hoped to go in to the city and take our girls to the American Girl Doll store, but we couldn't get reservations for that day! :(

Soooo.... we took my family up to see the Reagan Library!!
And to get some more awesome ipod touch pictures!! :)

On our way home, we stopped at a farm and picked our own strawberries, saw some animals, and played on toys!
Later in the day, we took everyone to the pool, and Shannon was a total Kamikaze baby diving into the pool. I had to lock her up in the stroller and abort the swimming pool mission. What a nightmare.

This picture below was when Shannon was saying goodbye to little Ella. I don't think Ella's going to miss that big baby boa constrictor!
Come back soon everyone!! :)

Natalie Harrison! I saw you comment on Mary Newton's blog and had to come blog stalk you and tell you I think you are one of my favorite BYU peeps of all time and I love seeing your little family. What a darling family- and how do you look so beautiful still- like you haven't had any kids at all!?! I can't believe your baby is 8. I think the last time I saw you was on campus and she was just a wee one in a stroller. Anyway, if you remember who I am, email me and I'll give you permission to view my (slightly boring) blog. Love you lots! :) Sincerely, Jenn Smith
