We have absolutely loved this
year in So Cal. The friends we've made, Tyler's job, the neighborhood we live in--everything has truly been a wonderful experience. The bad news is we're moving away, but the good news is... Tyler found a great job in Colorado. So off to the Rockies we're heading at the end of this month.
Here are a few things we will definitely miss:
* The gorgeous farmlands and produce growing everywhere around here.
* The U-pick farms for the kids to experience:
Why do kids never get tired of these head-cut-outs?
* Our library!!!!!
The whole children's section is designed like a pirate ship. The pillars look like stacks of books. My pictures don't do it justice. We are there every week; it's probably my favorite place in our town.
Whenever I have a list of errands to run with all the kids, I always visit the library 1st. They each pick out 10-15 books to read, and as we run from store to store, the kids are quiet and enthralled with their new books. It makes the errand-running so much more delightful without kids getting bored while driving place to place.
* The park right behind our house:
* The Beach
We will definitely miss how close we are to the beach. 20 minutes to our favorite beaches, 30 minutes to other locations. Tyler is my little beach boy, and I know he is going to miss the beach the most! :(
p.s.--After looking through these pictures, I'm guessing Shannon's favorite shirt is the strawberry one?!

WHHAAATTT?? What about your Disney passes? (I'm sure that was a critical component in your decision making!)
I'm so glad we were able to see you before you take off. The timing was definitely in our favor! The girls still talk about their "tuzzin" Annie and how much fun she was to play with.
Best of luck with the move!
XOXOXO!
Good luck with your move! Such an exciting change. Where in Colorado are y'all moving to? We lived in Castle Rock (south of the city) and Evan still misses that state. Such beautiful places and fun mountain things to do. Can't wait to hear about all of your new adventures!
Yes, what about your Disney passes?! ;) Exciting news but I'm sure you guys will miss all those fun things about SoCal. (Then again, I have some family down there and they all readily admit that it's a hard area to raise a family, and expensive, so maybe this is good?) I LOVE Colorado! Can't wait to hear where you are going, I love everywhere from Denver to the small mountain towns all the way to Durango. I'm sure you will love it too, though I know it will be hard being even further away from your sister (but "closer" to your Mom?) Your family is adorable and you always inspire me to be a better Mother. Good luck in the coming weeks!
You're moving again? I never made it over to see you in So Cal! Where in Colorado are you going? I lived there as a teenager. It's a great place. Hope you guys have fun. I can't believe how big your kids are getting Still cute as can be though.
Hope the move went well! Lol-ing about the strawberry shirt! Kiss those cute kids.
Colorado!?! We need more details!
Good luck with the move--lots of work, but there is certainly an adventure and a cleansing sense of dejunking that comes with it.
Colorado?!?! Awesome!One of my college roomies just moved to Broomfield, CO outside of Denver. Where are you going? Congrats!
