It was pretty authentic with bagpipes, kilts, and even the cutest little Irish dancing girls you've ever seen. Our kind friend brought these shamrock fairy wings for the girls to enjoy. Aren't they great?!
After a long weekend of having all the attention on Whitney, I thought maybe it was time for her to think of someone other than herself. My sister had her kids "heart attack" a primary teacher on Valentine's day, so I took her idea but modified it for St. Patty's Day. Whitney's cousin Lauren came with us to decorate the door with shamrocks, candy, and Lucky Charms. They had a blast being so sneaky. Whitney loved carefully writing her name on some of the shamrocks, and kept telling me how surprised her primary teachers would be when they saw the treats we left for them.
I think this might have to become a tradition...or at least remember it next year for Valentine's day. So fun!

That is SO darling. I am stealing the idea.
I've been thinking about Whitney these last few days, I will always remember she was born within a couple days of my first niece. Happy Fourth, Whitney!
so cute. reminds me of the days when heidi, stacy, melis and i would decorate each others rooms when one got home from a vacation! fun times. it is so fun to have kids and do things with them you did while you were growing up. also, i LOVE the easter pics! that is the cutest thing i have seen in a LONG time.
Happy Birthday, Whitney! Aubrey says to give you a hug. :)

Sweet, sweet, sweet. That is so cute and those girls look like they belong on a Ralph Lauren kids cover--matching and all. What a fun idea!
