Mommy, you say...

Last week was pretty gross with all of us being sick. Pink eye and a 24-hour bug (with throw up!) got passed through everyone, including us parents. Cole got pink eye the worst. However, he had a good attitude for the most part and still was providing us with some comic relief. His latest phrase is "Mommy, you say..."

The other morning I had the kids all ready for church, and I was getting my makeup on. Cole comes into the bathroom and goes, "Mommy, I don't wanna go to church!" I just ignored him--didn't want to really deal with it and I was in a rush. Then he says, "I don't wanna go to nursery!" More silence from me. He tried again with, "I'm not going to church!" Then finally he said, "Mommy, you say: TOO BAD, Cole!"

While at the playground Cole was running around showing off for his Aunt Heidi. As he ran by her he yells, "Heidi, you say: Good running, Cole!"

Cole loves milk and would drink 20 sippy cups of it a day if I let him. Lately he asks and answers for me like this. "Can I have some more milk? Mommy you say: Of course I can!"

I made some curry chicken the other night. Cole was sick, so I wasn't expecting him to eat much, but I was trying to offer him things on the table.
Me: Cole, would you like some chicken?
Cole: Ummm nope.
How 'bout some rice?
Nope.
Ooo, would you like these grapes?
Nope. Mommy, you say: Cole, how 'bout some marshmallows?

Yesterday Cole said, "Mommy, look at my sword!" (It was actually a long mouse tail/elephant nose from the dress up box.) I said, "Oh cool!" He replied, "Mommy, you say: Have fun killing!"
