Annie had her 9 month appointment last week (even though she was 9.5 months), and her stats were: 19 lb 2 oz (51%) and 2'5" (88%).She's crawling all over the place and loves to pull herself to standing on things... especially my leg, the bookshelf, piano bench, dishwasher, or couch.
Annie loves taking things apart one-by-one. Whitney summed it up best the other day by calling her "Little Destroyer." Some of her favorite things to disarray are my stack of music books, Whitney & Cole's stack of coloring books, utensils from the basket in the dishwasher, or Go Fish cards from the deck. She takes out one thing daintily, looks at it for a second and then chucks it to the side. The process repeats till all 100 things are on the floor in a mess.
She's also having a blast feeding herself these days. She was in heaven the day she found Cole's raisin container. After stopping to take a picture of her cute mischievous smile, I took away the choking hazard and gave her some real baby food. I guess since I left her bib on, she still thought it was feeding time! She's such a joy to have in our home. I've probably said this before, but I still keep wondering when the novelty of having a new baby around will wear off for Whitney. Whitney cannot get enough of this gal, and Annie loves playing with her siblings as well. Cole is starting to recognize that Annie can invade his territory, and he can't stand it when she cries... but I think deep down he's crazy about her. Today he even included Annie in his make-believe world when he said, "Mom, you're Mommy McQueen, I'm Brother McQueen, and Annie is Sister McQueen!" Awww...

Aw, the McQueens.... Yes, everything my son names is Lightning McQueen as well!
Your Annie is adorable! This next year is my favorite time with babies; old enough to be a little more safe, but still a baby. My Mom referred to us as her "Destroying Angels!"
Annie you are adorable. Wish I could see you do all your new tricks. Thanks for the update Natalie! Guve everyone a big hug from us.
What a cutie. She has such a sweet contagious smile. All your kids seem so pleasant. Way to go!
She is seriously SO cute, Natalie! I just can't believe that I've never met her. Thank heavens for blogs! It's been so fun watching her grow; I can't believe she'll be one in a couple of months!
Love that girl and all the girly things she does. She is too cute for words!
How can someone so destructive prove to be so irresistable? (Oh wait, I have two of those very destructive little critters and I still can't resist them... Though their cheeks are not quite so irresistable as they once were, unlike Annie's little chubs!)
Oh i just want to kiss the chunker! She's so dang adorable!!
She is such a sweetie, I just want to eat her cheeks. And yes, the sibling love is great to see. Even when they're not so sure is cute to see. :)
It sounds like you guys are having a warm and FUN summer! I'm loving your pix too. You have a great eye for photography AND you must have an awesome camera too!!! What are shooting with? Isn't it fun! My favorite subjects are my children. ;0) LOVE YOU ALL!!!

I can just imagine her inspecting each little item and then hucking across the room. Why is that so darn cute? It makes me just want to squeeze her cuteness!
