Growing to love...

...the binky clip. Why did it take me till my 3rd kid was 8 months old to realize how wonderful a pacifier clip could be? I was never a fan of the clip on kids. I thought it signaled "I can't live without this binky glued to me 24/7" or something. But when we went on our camping/beach trip in June I decided I HAD to bring the clip along because I didn't want Annie's binky falling in the dirt/fire/sand so I would have to clean it a thousand times. After that weekend with the clip, I became converted. I realized there are tons more reasons to have the clip rather than my 1 lame reason of "I'm addicted to the binky". For example, we haven't lost a binky since June. DUH! Here is Annie fashionably & discretely sporting the clip at the July 4th parade. Didn't lose the binky or get it dirty there!
And here is Annie with her sister just relaxing together one morning:
But my personal favorite reason for the binky clip is this:
"Don't worry about me mom! I'm kind of sleepy, but I have my pacifier right here, so I'll just go down now... Good night!"

Adorable! That's great that Annie will take a binkie Houston and Brady didn't like binky's. Seems like binky's make life easier.

I loved it with Emma too! In fact, I'll have to buy another one. I love the picture of Annie sleeping sitting up! Classic!

I love your kids. They are the cutest kids I've ever seen, seriously, I'm not just saying that. They say funny things, do funny things and are just all around adorable. I guess when you have two great parents who are also good looking themselves, that's what you get...

If I had a dollar for every time i have said, "i will never use that on my kids", I would be a rich woman! SO ADORABLE!

Dude, whatever gets you through the day! I have officially decided to never say "I will never do ____ " as a mother anymore! You just don't know!

Annie still has the most amazing hair. She's so precious.

I have the same high chair! Though it takes up so much space I'm thinking of opting for a more space saving model next time!

Cute Nats- Your kids are really really quite cute ya know. Tyler is a good daddy, I can tell. So, you just learned the positives for the clip. Yeah, they're pretty handy little things.

And the clips come in all kinds of coordinating colors and styles too! Since it took Bridget 9 months to even roll over (much longer to actually be able to move the direction of the lost binky) but she could pick things up much sooner, that clip saved us in all sorts of situations--especially in the car. Really, they are the best invention after wipes and diapers!

You're brilliant! I've lost so many binkies for the same reason. If Mimi wouldn't have weened herself of the binky at 6-months I'd definitely have a clip on her right now.

P.S. I am beyond honored that you named such a darling, pinchable, eatable, B-Utiful girl after me. :)

I can't get enough of her.

I love this post because we are the exact same. We didn't use a binky on a string until #3 and we are wondering what we were thinking! It truly is heaven. But I have to say that I don't have many pictures of it - very impressive. :)
