Can't resist posting some of my favorite pictures the kids have made this week in preparation for Thanksgiving.

After I saw that pic above I realized that Whitney must have missed my reading of the Thanksgiving books we checked out from the library and that her first grade class must not have effectively taught her much at her Thanksgiving celebration... So we had a little home lesson about the pilgrims and why we celebrate Thanksgiving.

He made sure to point out that the indian is wearing a red vest.Of course the kids traced their own hands for the classic hand turkey:
