Shannon is creeping up on 3 months old and has not been featured on the blog since her 2 week check! She had her 2 month check up (11 days late), and here were her stats:
Weight: 12 lb 4 oz (74th percentile)
Height: 24.5 inches (97th percentile)
Head Circumference: 15.5" (56th percentile)
Because of her weight and height, she has been known around our house as "Big Baby," but in our opinion, she's much cuter than the Toy Story 3 Big Baby.
Other nicknames Shannon has are:
* Twinkie
* Stinky Twinkie
* Stinky Twinkie with a binky
* Bam (Whitney used to call Annie "Bam-Bam" instead of Baby, and now Shannon gets the shortened version of Annie's old nickname)
* Chubby Chubber (given by Annie, but since Annie can't say her r's, it sounds like "Chubby Chubbo.")

Beginning of November--she found her thumb one day...
She still keeps trying to get that thumb, but most of the time, she just sucks on her knuckles till someone gets her the binky.
Like our other kids, Shannon had baby acne from 6-8 weeks.
Whitney was of course, ecstatic to feed Shannon her first bottle. This bottle above is a NUK bottle (shaped like the NUK binkies), and we thought it was great!

Annie is (still) the first one to come in my room in the mornings. She loves discovering me with the baby and loves taking her turn holding her.

And this little face reminds me of the few baby pictures I've seen of Tyler.
My mom and sister say Shannon reminds them of me when I was a baby, but there are times when I get glimpses of Nelson in this little girl. I just wish I had some pictures of Tyler as a baby to know for sure!

Ooh! What a fun update on Shannon! Loved it. She is such a BEAUTIFUL baby!! Her look is changing and she's turning into her own little person. How sweet. Love you all - hope Christmas was great.
That is one cute baby!! Loved the update on Thanksgiving, and your Cole cracks me up! I think he and my son would be best buds for sure!

She is a BEAUTY!! It doesn't surprise me a bit. Your kids are all so cute. I'm so glad the older ones are enjoying the baby. Jonah told me yesterday that Miles was better than a puppy. That says a lot coming from a little boy =) I love your pictures too. You're doing a fabulous job capturing their cute phases. You're an awesome mom!
