On Sat, Oct 1st (in between conference sessions), we celebrated Annie's party with friends. She had been talking about having a shark birthday for months and months and months. Seriously.
So I took her to the party store to (hopefully) find some shark items. I saw some pirate things and thought I'd have to convince her that that was kind of like a shark-theme. But before I turned around to tell her what I had found... she had her arms loaded with Tangled items. Didn't think twice about that shark party idea. She was ready to go!
To start off the party, we had a coloring table set up...
...along with face painting.
Tyler put his great skills to work!
We had some rapunzel hair for decoration...
...and played "Rapunzel, Rapunzel... FLYNN!"
Thanks, Whit, for helping us with crowd control.
Tyler led the kids on an obstacle course (not pictured b/c I was preparing lunch), and we also played "Pin the Pan on Flynn Rider" (not pictured b/c I wasn't thinking...).
Annie's lunch wish was: Mickey Mouse nuggets, carrots & cucumbers with ranch, and fruit kabobs.
Right before we broke open the pinata, ...Tyler asked the kids who wanted a cupcake. How else do you think we got all of the kids looking in the same direction for a picture?
What a whirlwind party. Phew!
