We're glad Cole tried soccer for a season. Cole mostly looked forward to two things: snack time at half-time, and running through the cheering tunnel at the end of each game:
They had an informal end of season party where the coach called them all over to his table and started handing out cupcakes and trophies.
The cute coach gave each of the boys a whistle, and the boys thought it was better than the trophy. The pizza parlor wasn't loving those whistles very much though!
Good thing we got a picture of that trophy because it was broken in less than 24 hours! I super-glued it twice and then tossed it the 3rd time it broke. Cole says he wants to do soccer again so he can get another trophy and not break it next time.
