Party Animals

We aren't the worlds biggest party people, but I felt like this past December gave us a glimpse of what a party animal's life would be like. :)

First we went to our neighbors' Ugly Christmas sweater party. Tyler was not messing around with the ugly factor when he made these matching sweatshirts. Please note the fur cuffs and added felt/fur to the cat.
And don't worry b/c he also puff-painted "Santa Claws" on the back of these sweatshirts in case anyone was wondering who we were. So, so ugly.

We attended our local parade b/c Tyler's office was participating in it. Unfortunately, their car was leaking some kind of fluid, so all that waiting for Daddy to come was in vain!
I wish I had a video of Cole calling out, "I LOVE YOU LADIES!!!" whenever beauty queens would drive by in their cars. Please remind me to not go to a parade by myself with 4 kids again.

Then we had our church Christmas party...
We were asked to prepare something musical for it. Since it was our first time ever performing as a family, you'll have to forgive the stage frightened kids, poor lighting, and off-key singing, but hey--it's us!

We had a great time at Tyler's work party. I had a hard time recognizing people at first since they weren't wearing their scrubs! Tyler's uncle and wife (on left) were so generous to everyone with their gifts. We feel blessed to work with them.
We also got to enjoy a "Christmas Jam" with some families from our church for a Family Home Evening of Christmas caroling.

And to top off our Party Animal ways... ALL of Tyler's family was around for the Christmas break! With 23 people under one roof I wasn't sure how things were going to pan out. But we really had a great time with everyone, and it made me wish we got together with everyone more frequently.

Got your comment about the stockings and I wanted to write you an email about it, but I don't have your email... and I can't find you on Facebook for some reason... so unless you want me to leave a realllllly long comment, could you leave me your email address in a blog comment (I'll delete it once I have it) or else find me on Facebook, etc.? So excited you want to make the stockings!
