For Tyler's 32nd birthday, we did the usual hiding and finding presents first thing in the morning...
We made him breakfast and then sent him off to work. That night he met us at the ball park for Whitney's game and then we came home and ate dinner. After dinner I realized that it didn't even cross my mind to make him a cake or anything. (What wife forgets that?!?! DOH!) He offered to make his signature Oreo shakes for everyone, but we didn't have any oreos. (Double DOH!)
So Tyler took the kids for a quick car ride over to our neighborhood market and got these frozen cookie sandwiches. We stuck a candle in his cookie and called it good!
Tyler and I have become Clippers fans since we moved here, so I got him (us?!) tickets to see the game on the 15th against the Suns. I hoped it would be a good game b/c in addition to liking the Clippers, Tyler also likes Steve Nash & Shannon Brown on the Suns. Our seats weren't bad!
But in the 4th quarter, the Clippers started playing like junior high schoolers, and we lost!! :(

We were at that game back in January where he did that dunk!! The crowd went insane. That was a great night... wish I could say the same about the most recent game we went to. Oh well! It was still fun to have a date night to celebrate his birthday.
And can I just add... isn't that #32 on his jersey appropriate?

Happy 32! Good Job on the tickets- I'm sure he loved that.
So fun!! Or did I totally forget that it was even Zack's bday in 2010 when we were moving here to St. Louiee. Linda and I remembered while he was pumping gas and we went into the mini mart and bought a dinky cupcake thing and were like, "Surprise!" Haha...we didn't say happy birthday until noon b/c we were surprising you! Yeah...
