Odds & Ends

We enjoyed our traditional Conference Candy weekend. The kids colored and all of us listened to the excellent messages at General Conference. 

It was sweet to hear the kids lament, "This is the last session of conference?! :( " I'm sure it had nothing to do with them knowing the candy would disappear after it was over.

We got together after Conference on Sunday with our friends from our freshman year at BYU. Angie hosted us all at her beautiful home for a delicious dinner and great conversation.

We even stopped for a group picture! 

Fun fact: between us 5 couples, there are 19 kids. Yes, Angie (in the green) had 19 kids running around her place!!! What a fun night! We really loved catching up with everyone and meeting a few non-freshman year spouses.

We've been enjoying the fall weather and taking advantage of the park days before the cold weather hits too hard. I can hardly keep up with this twinkie...

Whitney does this thing where she runs and jumps on the swing and flips around on it. Hard to catch in action, but trust me... it's cool!

 Annie is in denial that she's too big for the baby swing...

Shannon fell asleep on Annie's top bunk (after I had put her down for her nap on the bottom bunk). There's nothing sweeter than a sleeping kid, I swear!
