Our Highlands Ranch Ward hired real LIVE barn animals for the ward Christmas Party. The kids were in HEAVEN!
On Christmas Eve, Cole got SUPER sick. Poor kid was dead in bed. Whitney wrote him a sweet note:
We dragged him out of bed because we had to have a Joseph for our nativity:
Tyler requested each of the kids learn a new piano song for his Christmas present, so we played those for him on Christmas Eve:
Cole threw up and was feeling LOTS better! We gave the kids our traditional Christmas Eve present...
...Pajamas!!!
Here's a shot of our sorry Christmas tree (that was so pathetic & droopy) and the kids' little piles of presents. I tossed that tree as soon as Christmas was over!
Whitney's big present was a MOUSE--Santa didn't consult Mrs. Claus on that December 24th purchase!! She was really sweet sharing him with her siblings.
The rest of December was spent sledding on the hill by our house.
And New Year's Eve was spent working on a big puzzle together!
