Remember the patience!

A cute old man with a thick Russian accent stopped me today while I was out with the kids. He was just walking along the sidewalk hunched over carrying his 24 pack of toilet paper home. He stopped to smile at Annie and told me how special it was to be a parent. Then he told me how important it was to have patience and to be so kind with the kids because their time with me is so short. We talked for a few minutes and then I thanked him for his words. As we parted ways, he called back to me, "Remember the patience!!" I just thought it was so cute of him. It was like that was a big life lesson that he had really learned, and he wanted to share it with everyone he met. It really made my day.

Okay Gramps! I'll work on the patience! :)

Love it! That's so funny. Makes you want to hug the guy (although, you didn't mention his scent and I'm wondering . . . ?)
