We've gotten multiple letters and emails from people asking us to sign petitions and give money to worthy causes that support marriage. Keeping marriage between 1 man and 1 woman is a cause that Tyler and I firmly believe in. If you support this too, please click on the link blow and sign this petition. The petition will be presented to Gov Schwarzenegger in 8 days to ask him to suspend the court's ruling till the November election.Also included in the link below is a video clip of Mayor Newsom rejoicing that California is paving the way for gay marriage to become the norm across the nation. Ugh.

This is just another example of why I'm fed up with the state of California. My list of reasons for wanting to stay here are dwindling by the day!

This gay marriage thing seems to follow us from state to state! Frustrating isn't it?? Good for you, taking a stand. I'll sign the petition for sure!
Did you know Ellen Degeneres is now engaged to be married? Aren't you so happy for her though?
My prom date was gay and I did theatre in high school... I'm so torn! I wish there was an easier answer! Because really, why aren't we making laws about teenage single mothers raising babies in destructive homes? (Of course... not all teenage single mother homes are like this, boo to stereotyping....)
Whew! Been out of blogging for a month and lots to catch up on! First of all, yay for sticking up for what you believe in! My aunt and uncle just picked up and moved from San Fran they just couldn't take it anymore. They are ironically in Arizona, where yes, it gets very hot or so I hear! But come on, you grew up in Texas, what could be worse? I loved that post about the "Mommy you say" your son does. So hilarious! I'm totally jealous that you and your sister live so close and have kids together. I"m still waiting for someone to get married already!
