We love cousins!

I am so grateful to live close by my sister. It's such a blessing to have our kids all play together and enjoy this season of life together. We know it probably won't last long, so we're trying to make the most of it while we're in the same town.

Heidi & Brad were so kind to watch our kids the other night so we could have our first official date with no kids since Annie was born. It was wonderful, and Heidi gets kudos for having her house full of 6 hyper kids!

We've also enjoyed watching some of our nephew Caleb's baseball games. Cole wants so badly to jump on the field and run bases with his cousin. The girls love to get Icees and cheer their guts out for Caleb.
Caleb came over to play Legos Star Wars (Ster Wers, as Cole calls it), and the kids thought they were in heaven. Whitney & Lauren ate banana bread and fought like sisters over who got the pink cup. Cole thought he was playing like a big kid (even though the controller wasn't plugged in).Tyler & I both love our families. Now if we could just get all of the grandparents and all of our other siblings out here, we'd have it made. Unfortunately jobs and school have everyone scattered throughout the country for now. Maybe in the next life we can all live in the same city? :)

How lucky you guys are to have a babysitter AND cousins nearby! What fun memories your kids are making.

You are lucky to have some family nearby right now. My family is scattered everywhere. We had some family up here (Stephen's aunt, uncle and cousins)but they just moved!! :( I can't believe Annie is 7 months already. Aubrey is almost 2 months. Finally starting to get the hang of this three kids thing...sort of. :) Glad you have a blog so we can keep in touch! --Krista

I love Cole's face holding the controler . . . he's so intent and it wasn't even plugged in? Oh you are so cracking me up. That kid has such personality!

Oh, these pictures are the best! I love seeing the cousins play together. Congrats on getting a date together - that is an achievement in and of itself, I think! Love you! Em
