The library had these kitchens set up for kids to play with the other day, and I was dying at Shannon's pretend playing. She's not supposed to be old enough for that!
We have loved redeeming the Jamba gift cards the girls got for their birthdays.
Those are my fuzzy socks Shannon is wearing with her crocs... ghetto mama!!
Running laps around the backyard is our latest parenting tactic. It's been working great! The potty talk has decreased significantly since we've implemented the new rule.
We hosted an election night party while dressing very patriotic...
...but it ended so sadly as not only our candidate didn't win, but our state also legalized pot. Not our best night!
This little gal will find any bag she can, hold it open, and yell, "TIK O DEET!!" with hopes she's going to get some candy from someone. A great game!
Daddy's on bath duty...
The other Saturday morning, I woke up early to go to the gym. I came downstairs to fill up my water bottle, and I found Whitney in the kitchen. She had been up since 5:30 that morning making breakfast and notes for everyone. It warmed my heart. To quote Tyler, "I don't deserve that girl!"
Our neighbors have been talking us in to going to an all-you-can-eat sushi place once a month, and it's been fun! The sushi is starting to grow on us, and we love hanging out with great company too.
We experienced our first BIG snow storm as we drove back from sushi. You couldn't even see the lines on the highway! We witnessed one accident, and we saw 6 more after that during our 11 mile ride home.
But the good thing about all the accidents is that they were minor. Everyone drives so slowly during the heavy snowfall that the accidents aren't deadly--just annoying and costly!!

OMG that Whitney girl is just the sweetest thing!! And bummer about the snow I am NOT looking forward to my 20 minute work commute turning into a 40 minutes commute.
Whitney is amazing.
Your daughter is amazing! I love your idea about running laps in the backyard. I think I am going to have my kids start doing this.
Running laps in the backyard is the best idea. Love it. And love your sweet election outfits. And could Whitney be any sweeter? She's been taught well.
Love every single pic and commentary! Whitney just blows me away, what a sweetie. And lovin the USA outfits! What a riot!
I thought Shannon was just rockin' some leg warmers, not your cozy socks. She's styling, not ghetto! :)
