CA Trip Day 4 - Tuesday

We decided Tuesday would be our Disneyland day since we spent most of Monday at California Adventure. We took our time getting out the door in the morning and then just went where the wind blew us.

Shannon nearly died when she saw Mickey leading a band down Main Street!

 The kids all agreed that hands-down, they HAD to go to Thunder Mountain Railroad.

 I'm pretty sure we rode it 10 times in a row that morning!!

 We spooked the kids out at Haunted Mansion...

 ...and on the Pirates of the Carribean ride.

Shannon loved the idea of seeing the characters (while Tyler took the big kids on big rides), but then she'd totally freak out when she was within 10 feet of them.

One Disney worker suggested I hold Shannon, and that worked out much better. Shannon loved giving the characters high-fives and warmed up after that.

 

We met up with our old So Cal friends that afternoon, and we hit up Tomorrow Land together. Cole was in heaven having some boy buddies around!

Successful day 2!! :)
