Day 3 in Disneyland was great! We spent most of the morning together
before Tyler took off with Whitney to meet up with his uncle and their family. They have big kids, so Whitney was in heaven hanging out with them and riding all the big rides.
By the way--this day was probably the most hot & humid of the whole week. We didn't feel like we were in So Cal--the heat was killer like Texas!
I had a great time hanging out on the little kid rides. Apparently Shannon thought this caterpillar ride was a big time roller coaster!
Tyler told Cole he could come ride big rides with him and Whitney, or Cole could go see princesses with me & the little girls. After weighing all his options, Cole chose to come with us--he decided enduring the princesses was worth it so as to not have to ride the scary rides.
We ran into Mickey!
Despite Shannon's love for him (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is her very favorite!), she was only brave enough for a quick high five.
We spent time playing at Goofy's playhouse,
and then we waited in line to see the princesses!!
Oh my word, these princesses never disappoint! They are so precious with each child that comes to meet them. By now, Shannon was really starting to warm up to the idea of meeting the characters.
The only thing that disappointed was the setting I put my camera on. Doh!! Wish the lighting were better!
Princess Tiana was probably my favorite---totally in character. Cole said, "I know that you wish you had your own restaurant." And she replied in the best southern Louisiana accent telling Cole all about how she actually owned her own restaurant now, that she married the prince, and how she loves gumbo, and on and on and on...
What? Motion sick mama took her kids on the teacups? Oh those smiles and laughs were worth the hour of post-teacup nausea. I'm getting dizzy just looking at this pic.
We met up with Tyler & his cousins at the end of the day to eat dinner, and then Tyler took Annie on some bigger rides. Apparently they had a lot of fun!
Then we said our goodbyes...
Till next time cousins!

Wow, I can't imagine so many days of Disneyland in a row! Sounds fun, but exhausting. You guys are all such troopers. Looks like a blast!
